PARTY WITH US
We’ve got a heap of different spaces within our precinct that are available to book out for your next function or event. From birthdays to farewell drinks, weddings and engagements, cocktail parties and intimate dinners, bucks and hens parties, milestone birthdays, funerals, team offsites and EOFY parties, there’s something for groups from 20-500 (or 1500 if you’re looking to hire out the whole VENUE!) We also have a selection of buildable packages so you can add on time in our retro Arcade or pre-plan your food and drinks. What can we say? We like to party.THE GREENHOUSE
Natural light streams in through the original saw-tooth roof, highlighting white walls and a polished concrete floor. Hanging greenery, festoon lighting, and timber features make the space bright and airy or moody and intimate to suit your event. With a completely flexible furniture arrangement, the options are limitless.
The Greenhouse offers a private bar, bathrooms, an AV system, and a cosy lounge area that can be used as a welcome area or comfortable chill-out space. The in-house sound system can play a playlist, DJ, or acoustic band. It also includes a wireless microphone and two wall-mounted TVs.
THE ARCADE
Home to the biggest licensed arcade in Australia with over 90 retro arcade games. Think Pinball, Space Invaders, Mortal Kombat, Pac-Man, Dance Dance Revolution, Air Hockey and Pool.
Some of the best bucks and hens parties, team functions, weddings and even wakes we’ve seen have been ones that have had an hour of game play added for everyone to compete it out.
THE SHOWROOM
Previously a car showroom, this space has brown leather loungers, wood tones, and black steel framing. It offers a private entry off High Street plus a private bar and bathrooms. There is a bio-ethanol fireplace, a raised stage, a full AV system, and a dancefloor. This is the perfect space for special celebrations.
THE DECK
A semi-private space connected to our beer garden. Perfect year round with a retractable awning roof for coverage and heaters to keep you toasty warm in winter.
THE COURTYARD
Our Courtyard is a semi-private space in the heart of our beer garden and includes cocktail-style tables, stools, and bench seating. The Courtyard has a bar close by to make it easy for your guests, alternatively, we can set up a self-service drinks station. Overhead heating catering for the colder months and misting fans for summer.

A party oasis off to the side of the beer garden. The container bar is the perfect place to book for your next warm weather shindig and enjoy all the good vibes Welcome to Thornbury has to offer.
WHOLE VENUE
Combining the best of all of our indoor and outdoor spaces, whether it be for shoot days, productions, filming, large corporate or wrap parties, the whole venue at Welcome to Thornbury can be booked out for extra big groups of up to 1,500.
