A new life for our main bar by Lynn Bremner!

July 2, 2019

Lynn Bremner is a Scottish illustrator now based in Melbourne. The month of June saw Lynn painting burgers, beer and doggos to groovy up our walls. Our WTT team love it – it’s given a gorgeous colour pop to our warehouse bar.

Lynn and I caught up to talk about her style;

WTT: So how do you describe your style?

Lynn: My style has evolved pretty rapidly over the past year, my course has really helped me hone in on my personal style. I love bold colours and like to keep things fun and dynamic with a sense of movement. At the moment my work is focusing on vintage inspired colour palettes and features a lot of my favourite things – plants, body positivity and food, haha!

Whilst finishing off her Diploma of Illustration at Melbourne Polytechnic, Lynn has done major illustration works around Melbourne. Most notable works for Triple RRR, Homie, the tinnie artwork for ‘Piney Dancer’ pineapple IPA from Stomping Ground, cover for Froth Magazine and now Welcome to Thornbury.

Lynn will be next featured in group show ‘Works on Paper’ at Incub8r gallery in Prahran.

Lynn’s Welcome to Thornbury faves:

Beer on tap: Good Beer XPA
Food truck: Nem N Nem
